   B R O W N    Rice

Brown Rice CRESPIRISO is created as a result of exclusive "sbramatura" (first peeling-rice process) brown rice is a partly milled rice. It does not undergo the bleaching process so it has a green-gray colour. Lacking the sbramatura process  the rice is more nutritious than traditional white rice, but obviously, all culinary uses, flavors, sizes and other characteristics change compared to the corresponding processed rice.

The differences between our brown rices concern about the substantial size of the grains and their hardness. Brown Carnaroli rice has pearl and it is also very resistant to cooking, Brown
Baldo rice is a crystalline one so it is more soft than Carnaroli, brown Gladio is Indica  variety, it has long and thin grain, crystalline and less resistance to cooking than Carnaroli or Baldo, certainly is the lightest of the three rices.


Rice is devoid of preservative agents, store in a cool, dry place before and after the opening of pack.

COOKING TIME:  45 minutes / 25 minutes in pressure cooker
